energyexchangerEnergy Exchange Records presents a brand new sample pack of tasty drum breaks and one shots by our very own Ziggy Zeitgeist.
Recorded at London's Fish Factory studio through the vintage Neve 1084 console and a plethora of vintage mics and outboard gear, mixed at Lewis's studio in Hackney Downs.
The pack includes 50 breaks and 10 different one shots of the acoustic kit but what defined this approach is the inclusion of 8 different mic options on top of the mixed DRUM BUS. Take a super tight kk, snr and hats for maximum punch, or blend in some of the stereo room from Fish Factory. Boost the 441 break mic for maximum crunch or blend in some real plate reverb. The 'Breaks and Shots' sample pack is a unique approach to find a middle ground between electronic and acoustic drum production.
50 different breaks spread across 9 different tempos all delivered mixed in the 'DRUM BUS' but also with 8 individual mic options including room, analog phaser and real plate reverb. Also included is a folder of one-shots at different velocities with a selection of mic options for different timbral approaches.
